Product Description

Whilst every effort is made to accurately describe our products, there may be slight variation in packaging design, product colour or specification.

Suitability Of Purpose

We do not accept responsibility for misuse of our products, it is the responsibility of the customer to use the products with discretion. We do not accept responsibility for any defects of goods arising from incorrect storage or use by the customer.

Please read all instructions given by our website and the instruction leaflet carefully before using your chosen product.

Product Storage

The customer should ensure that the products are kept in cool and dry conditions. Exposure to sunlight, frost, humidity or excessive heat etc. will cause the products to deteriorate. All products are checked carefully before despatch to the customer. Sometimes some oil separation occurs in creams, lotions and scrubs; this does not affect their quality and is easily remedied by stirring them with a suitable utensil.

Health and Safety

Sugaring Beauty accepts no responsibility for incorrect use of products and therefore all representations relating to purpose of use are excluded to the full extent permitted by law and we accept no liability whatsoever.

It is the responsibility of the customer to use the products with discretion and to check with a professional if in doubt. Due to the nature and properties of essential oils it is always advisable to do a patch test on a small area of skin first, especially if you have sensitive skin or are new to our products. Place a small amount on the inner crease of the elbow to ensure you are not sensitive to any of the oils contained in the product.

Never apply undiluted essential oils directly on the skin unless otherwise specified; always dilute in carrier oil.

Essential oils should not be used in the first 4 months of pregnancy. After this time we would advise you to consult a qualified aromatherapist as to the safety of the oils you wish to use. Never take any of our products internally, unless specified!

Sugaring Beauty accepts no responsibility for incorrect use of information or products. Reasonable care implies that it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the goods are kept in a safe, clean, dry, damp-free and cool environment and, for hygienic reasons, that seals are not broken prior to return. If there is no seal then customers may open products to look at them but not use or try the contents.

We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged during transit. You are advised to wrap the product carefully to avoid damage. You are also advised to return goods by recorded delivery, registered post, or by courier. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please remember to give us your name and address, transaction number and a copy of your purchase receipt. Please note that the cost of returning unwanted items is your responsibility.

Please do not return any goods until you have contact us to inform us, and please ensure that you retain proof of posting, as we cannot accept liability for goods that do not reach us. Please note that we cannot refund postage, packaging, insurance or delivery charges.

PRIVACY

Privacy Notice

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 & subsequent revisions thereof). We collect information about you for three reasons: to process your order (including payment authorisation), to provide you with the best possible service and to assist in developing the sites content. We will never sell on your private details.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. It is possible to obtain a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. A nominal charge of £10 is made to cover administrative costs involved. Should you require a copy of such information, please contact us using the 'Contact Us' page. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and English law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) for uses other than order fulfilment, we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of registered and non-registered visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening (for example, using Internet Explorer select 'Internet Options' from the 'Tools' menu, then click 'Security', followed by 'Custom level' and select 'Disable Cookies'). The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. We also aggregate this data to perform statistical analyses of the characteristics and behaviour of our registered users and non-registered visitors. Cookies are also used as a further means of ensuring private and secure purchase sessions are operated within the site.

Sometimes, we may specifically ask for information about you when you sign up to use a service, for instance, the My Account Service, or when you order a product. We will need certain information such as your name, address, email address and phone number in order to provide you with that service or product. Furthermore, we may also use that information to send you email newsletters. You can easily choose not to receive such newsletters by letting us know on the registration screen when you sign up.

Every time you connect to our website we store a log of your visit which shows the unique number your machine uses when it is connected to the internet (IP address). This tells us what you looked at; whether the page request was successful or not and which browser you used to view the pages. The use of this data is strictly for statistical purposes only. This helps us to understand which areas of the site are of particular interest and also which pages are not being requested. It also tells us how many people are visiting the website in total.

We may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by email or place an announcement on the website.

Updating information

Please let us know if the personal information which we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated.

Sugaring Beauty ensures the security of all protected data transmitted to and from our site through the use of shared-server-based encryption technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). As you enter personal information (such as your password, address and phone number), SSL encodes it so that it is available only to you and Sugaring Beauty. This security protects you from impostors, eavesdroppers and vandals that might otherwise access your information as it travels from one computer to another.

We are fully committed to providing full security through our on-line and telephone service. We use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your details are safe for all sales transactions with us. All information you provide online is fully encrypted so that it cannot be read by third parties.

The personal information that we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security and the law.

Special Offers and Promotions

From time to time we offer voucher code promotions, special offers and other promotions. Any voucher code discounts offered apply to a discount off the retail prices applicable on our website, and not any other current special offer or promotional prices that may be available at the time. Discount voucher offers apply to products and not postage and packaging charges.

Offers cannot be combined with other offers already available.

Discount Voucher Codes

We sometimes work with other businesses to offer special exclusive offers for their subscribers, as well as offers sent directly to our own newsletter subscribers. Also occasionally we post information about a special promotion or offer on the home page of our website. Any offers which require a voucher code to be entered during the checkout process cannot be actioned retrospectively if a customer does not see a particular offer or promotion. If a customer wishes to cancel and re-order we will do our best to action any discounts, but if the order has been packed and/or despatched, we are unable to change that particular order. Please regularly check our home page for offers, and please note that to ensure that you receive notification of all our offers you should sign up to our newsletter.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for non-performances of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company such as act of God, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire, terrorism, war, legislation, petrol crisis and transport or weather disruptions. If by reason of such circumstances it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the items ordered then the company's liability will be limited to the value of the items already supplied and received by the customer.

Severance

Each provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be construed separately and independently of each other and the validity of any one part shall not affect the validity of any other part.

Law

These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to the minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the terms.
